Am I buying a finished item?
No. Good Build Plans offers digital DIY build plans. You build the project yourself using your own materials and tools. No physical item is shipped.
What will I download?
Each Etsy listing will show exactly which files come with that project. Check whether it includes a PDF, preparation sheets or linked guide access before purchasing. The projects shown here are designs in development.
How do I choose a project I can build?
Check its finished dimensions, tools, materials and required techniques. Look through the plan previews and ask about anything unclear before you buy. Our article on choosing a DIY plan walks through the questions to ask.
Where will I buy the plans?
Etsy is our intended shop destination. When a plan is ready, its project page will link to the matching listing. You’ll complete your purchase on Etsy and return here for more project ideas.
Can I sell things I make from a plan?
Our personal-use licence allows you to build as many as you like and sell what you build. The plan files themselves may not be copied, shared, resold or redistributed.
How can I ask a question?
Email [email protected]. For a question about a specific plan, include its name and the step or detail you’re asking about.
